Activity Snapshot
Activity description
Experience the wild Sørfjorden and its awestriking mountainsides by kayak!
On this trip, your guide will lead the way along the Sørfjorden, showcasing all the incredible nature on the way. Meet at the hotel to get equipped in your wet or dry suit and life jacket. Then it will be time to hit the water. With the choice of a single or a double kayak, this can be a fun activity with friends or just a relaxing one-on-one time with yourself in the stunning Norwegian fjords.
Starting from Lofthus, a town known in Norway for its fruit production, you will paddle along cute orchards, bearing cherries, pears and plums. Your guide will provide you with plenty of in-tell about the region, its production, and its stunning natural parks. Take in the steep mountain views. You will even be able to spot the snow-capped summit of the Folgefonna glacier! When your arms begin to tire, your guide will take you for a stop on a beach or boat house. They are there for any kind of assistance or request, so don't hesitate to reach out if there's ever an issue.
Don't hesitate to unwind on this leisurely, pleasantly physical day out on the icy-blue Sørfjorden!
Approximately 5 hours - 8-12 km of paddling
